My girl S. Usher Evans has a new release coming out THIS MONTH, so she’s on my blog today discussing preorder strategies for the curious mind. Like me, February marks the month for demons — only Evans’ characters are fighting/wrangling them, not ahem fornicating with them.
This one is for all my writer babes out there. All of us, no matter where we are in our career, face self-doubt. Not once. Not twice. Multiple times. Writing and publishing is a tough and lonely business, but 14 authors banded together to create one SUPER post about how to deal with the issue. My author bae Sarina Langer is host this week, so go check it out!
Guyssssssssssssss. Occasionally I can get my shit together long enough to bang out a guest post for other writerly lovelies. Today I’m on C.L. McCollum’s blogchatting about the pros and cons of self-publishing.
Read and digest all the things (ALL THE ARTICLES) before you decide to take the plunge.
I finally wrote a thing! I seldom agree to do guest posts because I’m shamefully bad at sticking to a schedule with my OWN blogging, let alone writing things for others, but this was for a blogger I adore and it was a message I really needed to get out there.
For those of you who are curious about what happened to my brain back in January, this post is for you. For those of you who are injured and struggling to write as you once did, this post is also for you.
Today I have the very talented Samantha Ferguson with me as a guest blogger. Does the name sound familiar? It should. I ranted and raved about her superb novel, The Secret Diary of a Checkout Girl last year, which earned one of my rare 5 star reviews because it was FANTASTIC.
But that’s not why Samantha’s on my blog today. Instead, she’s here to give authors considering taking the self-publishing route an insight into the process. The ups, the downs, the marketing. A lot of what she says here I couldn’t have said better myself, so dive right on in and enjoy!
