The Holy Land – A Poem by Liz Meldon

I’m not huge on poetry. I don’t write it in my free time, but I did dabble when I was forced to in one of my writing classes in university. And for once, I don’t hate it. So, here we go, for all of youuuuu! A poem inspired by my high school costume room — aka The Holy Land.

The surface of the earth rotates on its axis at a speed of 1,000 miles per hour
