I loved this book. I loved the premise (which was fresh and new to me) and I loved the writing style. The characters were A++, and I so genuinely felt for Cora that it was unreal. Loved it all.
I’m now a fan of V.M. Black, but I’m not a fan of serial books that read like updates of an online story. I want to continue, but I’m not really interested in buying little snippets of one big book that, really, could just be sold as one. Maybe I’ll catch the next one as a freebie. Or I’d buy the whole story as one book. But until then, I’ll have to say goodbye to Cora and Mr. Thorne, as much as it pains me.
