Book Review: Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris

BOOK (32)

I don’t want to think I’m biased when rating this book, but I fell in love with Thomas Harris’s style when I first read “Hannibal”, and “Silence of the Lambs” did not disappoint. His brisk writing style is still present here, and I found I loved Clarice Starling more here than I have in any other appearance, literary or otherwise. Even if you’ve watched the movie, the book is a real page-turner, and it’ll keep you wanting more and more. I was in a weird slump of mediocre books, and then I picked up this beauty–and suddenly I was out of that slump. The book is fairly short, with vivid characters and a strong female protagonist. Looking for something to renew your love for thrilling mystery/suspense/psychological mind-games? Look no further!
