TBR Thursday: Be My Fantasy by Alisha Rai

I love Alisha Rai, and I managed to snag this when it was on fo free. Can’t wait!

Elizabeth Harding, the perfect, polished daughter of politicians, plays by all the rules. Or so it seems. Tired of a lifetime of denying her passionate nature, she’s created an alter ego. As Tess, Elizabeth is able to safely and secretly indulge all of her wild fantasies—even if that fantasy is financing a private club of pleasure.

Driven and ambitious, Luca Santos has clawed his way from rags to riches. His boss’s daughter has tempted him for what seems like forever, but he’s known that the pampered princess probably wouldn’t be down with his dirty ways. Elizabeth is sweet, innocent, demure…so what’s she doing sneaking around a place that revels in sexual abandon?

One night. So many ways to ruin a person.

Note: This title contains explicit language and sexual roleplaying. Elizabeth and Luca’s story will conclude in Stay My Fantasy, coming in June.

One night can change everything.

That’s what they always say, and for now, vampire hunter Delia hopes it’s true. After years of mediocre performances, she’s still nothing more than a grunt in her hunter league, stuck on surveillance duty and low-level vamp busts.

So, when her informant drops an amazing lead in her lap, she jumps at the opportunity to take down the region’s rumored vampire leader at an invite-only masquerade ball. Clad in a mask and an uncomfortable dress, Delia throws herself into the fray—only to realize she’s woefully unprepared for the night that awaits her.

Also… Some ridiculously attractive guy dressed as the Fool keeps distracting her.

One night. One job. One man. One chance to change her life.

All she has to do is not screw it up.

The Fool is a novella intended for readers aged 18+, and is the prologue for the paranormal romance serial Games We Play

TBR Thursday: The Girl from I.T. by MojoFiction

This looks like it has serious feels behind it. A heroine who is suddenly ill and struggling? That’s something I can relate to. So down to clown with all that.

Alice Morgan has a problem. When something good happens she never fails to talk her 22157674.jpgway out of it. She can’t help it; she just likes to talk. Ask anyone in the long line of her previous boyfriends and employers. Then, when she thinks things are finally looking up, she discovers she has breast cancer. Of course, as could only happen to Alice, immediately after finding out, she’s offered a new job where meets a man she thinks might be the one. Should she tell him about it? Or just call in sick a lot? Unfortunately, it looks like things might get a little complicated…

The Girl from I.T. is a romantic comedy exploring human resolve in the face of adversity — the hope we all have that if you fight hard enough, something wonderful will happen. But, somehow, it’s always in a completely unexpected way.
