2.9 stars because I hate this trend of writing the start of something and then forcing me to buy a bunch of other short stories to read one complete story. I genuinely enjoyed the author’s writing style, but I prefer a novella to have at least a beginning, middle, and end, not a huge cliffhanger. I have no doubts this will bring a lot of readers in. It was steamy, sexy, and there are lots of avenues the plot can take going forward. I, however, don’t think I’ll be continuing based solely on the divvying up of one book into a bunch of tiny books.
