Maybe this just wasn’t my cup of tea. If you like erotica and you like spankings, then this will definitely be for you. However, I found it a little boring: the sex, subplot, and characters were all somewhat bland. I understand there is pressure to make characters connect quickly in a novella, but I thought the love between the two main characters came out of nowhere–and it felt a tad Stockholm Syndrome in some respects, but that might just be me. It’s a quick read though, so if you’re looking for smutty (somewhat predictable) smut to fill an afternoon, this will do it.
