Review: The Erotic Dark by Nina Lane

The Erotic Dark

FOUR STARS

Loved it. As far as erotica goes, this was right up my alley. I love great smut, but there are some instances where it’s just too vulgar to me–it doesn’t paint a pretty enough picture. This was my first experience with Nina Lane, and from the very first page, I can only describe her writing as beautiful. She crafts such an exquisite image with her words, and I devoured the whole book in a few sittings. There isn’t much plot to it, but you can assume that going in. There’s a lot of sex coupled with some nice character arcs that I wasn’t expecting. Looking forward to reading more of the author’s work, and jumping right into the sequel now!

I always try to have one ebook and one physical book on the go. Ebook is for writing breaks, physical is for before bed.

At the moment, I have Users by Andrea M. Alexander on the go. I’m halfway through this dystopian piece, and I’m really enjoying myself. It’s a character development kind of read, so you gotta love watching characters grow–but there’s lots of plotty plot to keep me interested too.

For my bedtime read, The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet is keeping me company. No complaints so far, minus the weird and inappropriate sexytimes, but I will reserve judgement until I’m finished all 1000 pages.
